SALARY: £44,711 - £49,764 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Procurement and Contracts Specialistwith experience in IT procurement and strong computer literacy, specifically in PowerPoint, Excel and e-procurement software.
As the IT Procurement and Contracts Specialist you will join a motivated procurement team, playing an integral role in providing specialist procurement advice and contract management, focussing on IT contracts.

Working as an IT Procurement and Contracts Specialist you will support the corporate strategy and priorities, ensuring these are based on evidence and align with the organisations aims. You will ensure services, programmes, projects and employees are working toward a common set of outcomes as specified in the Corporate Plan and IT Service Plan.
DUTIES
Your duties as the IT Procurement and Contracts Specialistwill include:
- Support procurement activity to deliver the organisations IT strategy
- Work alongside internal colleagues including those within the IT department
- Develop an organisation-wide performance management framework, including highlighting procurement and contract risks and opportunities, coordinate performance data from IT
- Providing high quality IT procurement related support and advice
- Explore innovative ways to deliver the organisations Plan outcomes
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Good knowledge and experience of public sector procurement regulations, with a specific focus in the IT category
- Experience and excellent understanding of the Public Contracts regulations 2015 and the implications of the procurement act 2023
- Experience in IT procurement
- Relevant professional qualifications such as Chartered Institute of Procurement and supply or a recognised business qualification
- Strong IT skills specifically in PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience of using e-procurement software
